In fact the government has rushed to the villages to identify the 57-year-old eligible candidates when the panchayat elections are held in January 2019. Based on the voter list of the then Assembly elections, it was found that 6.70 lakh people were eligible in all the municipalities and gram panchayats except Greater Hyderabad. Unlike old applications in this context .. Applications are picked up through your service centers once again from 15th to 31st August this year. About 9.50 lakh people across the state applied for the 57-year-old. Although the application was not verified after the expiration date, officials said online that it was okay to locate some locally.
In fact new pensions will not be granted from 2018 onwards. From September 2018 to September 2021 widows, paralyzed by accidents, victims of bullying, 50-year-old Gita, handloom workers, single women, 65-year-olds applied. But the pension is not coming as they are not sanctioned. Panchayat secretaries and MPDVOs take applications from them, identify the eligible candidates and upload them in the MPDVO login from time to time. Applications from these categories across the state are coming in at an average of 10 thousand every month. The number of such applications came to three lakhs in a quarter of a period. Although these applications are shown as approved online, they are not sanctioned due to lack of permission from the government.

During his visit to Sirisilla in July, CM KCR announced that Asara would be given new pensions from August this year. However, in August, only orders were issued by the government lowering the eligibility age for Asara Oldage pension to 57 years. Apart from the old applications .. With the receipt of applications in August, almost 4 lakh new arrivals. But the verification of these applications has not started yet. At least no departmental officials have been instructed to do the verification.
Meanwhile, officials say 2.50 lakh pensions have been scrapped in the quarters. The state government is constantly deleting the names of beneficiaries who have died due to illness or other reasons and have not taken pension for three consecutive months. Asara is removing 5,000 to 6,000 names from the list of pensioners every month. In 2019 alone, the government removed 1,16,534 names from the support list. In a special drive held in December 2019, 52,082 names were removed at once. In all, two and a half million people were reportedly fired in the past quarter. As on January 2019, the number of Asara pension recipients in the state was 39.14 lakh. At present it has come down to 37.
Sanction if election
The government is granting new support pensions wherever there are by-elections. During the by-elections in Huzurnagar, Dubbaka and Nagarjunasagar constituencies, some of the pending pension applications were withdrawn and sanctioned. New pensions have also been given in Huzurabad recently. There it was stopped again after the election was over.
