It is learned that the government is providing financial assistance of Rs 10,000 per annum to shopkeepers, Nai Brahmins and tailors through this scheme.

We are transferring Rs.146.10 crore to the accounts of 1,46,103 tailors with shops. We are giving Rs.98.44 crore to 98,439 Rajaka brothers and sisters. We are providing assistance of Rs 40.81 crore directly to 40,808 Nai Brahmin families. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy inaugurated the second installment of the Jagannath Chedodu project by holding a video conference on Tuesday morning from the Thadepalli camp office.

In a video conference from Anantapur Collectorate, Collector S. Nagalakshmi, Jadpi Chairman Boya Girijamma, MLAs Ushashree Charan, Tippeswamy, Ahuda Chairman Mahalakshmi Srinivas, RTC de Regional Director Manjula, City Corporation Mayor Wasim, Deputy Mayor Vijaybhai Reddy Participated. Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that Rs.11,940 crore was provided to rajaks with 11,940 shops, Rs.3,993 crore to Nai Brahmins with 3,993 shops and Rs.5,518 crore to tailors with 5,518 shops. Afterwards, the Jagannath Chedodu mega check was handed over to the beneficiaries by the officials and public representatives. Funds were released for the second year in a row in Andhra Pradesh for the 'Jagannanna Chedodu' scheme. The Jagan government is implementing this welfare scheme for the welfare of Rajaks, Nai Brahmins and tailors. Speaking on the occasion, CM Jagan said that 2.85 lakh people are benefiting under Jagannath Chododu. It was revealed that Rs 285.35 crore was being deposited in 2,85,350 bank accounts under the welfare scheme. Together with the latest release of Rs 285.35 crore, the total assistance provided under the scheme so far has reached Rs 583.78 crore.

1,46,103 tailors operating tailoring shops in AP were given Rs. 146.10 crores. We are providing Rs 98.44 crore to 98,439 people who own ironing and laundry shops. 40,808 Nai Brahmins with shops were given Rs. 40.81 crore. We are implementing the scheme transparently without bribery and discrimination. For the second year in a row, we are providing assistance under the 'Jagannanna Chedodu' scheme, ”said CM YS Jagan.
